IFHY - Tyler, The Creator.

WOLF, Tyler's new album was released in stores yesterday and released online two days ago. At first, I was pretty disappointed in the album as a whole because I pretty much miss the old Tyler even though I have no idea what that really means. Nevertheless, after listening to the album non-stop today, it has really grown on me. But really, IFHY & 48 really got me and I'll be talking about that.

As I was talking about the album to my friend, he said that he was disappointed because he said that one of this favourite things about Tyler, The Creator was hearing him talk about fucking shit up and raping women. As scary as that sounds, I feel the exact same way. IFHY really changed my opinion because Tyler really surprised me by putting a "love song" on the album. Usually, even if he does put a song related to love, he's not upfront about it. In IFHY, he actually talks about the girl, how perfect she is and how his life would be different without her. The song is really unique and I'm happy that Tyler is growing as an artist.

The video is also really cool. I appreciate how it's filmed as if Tyler and the girl are both dolls. To me, it's as if they're saying that the physical aspects of the relationship is irrlevant, even though the girl isn't being reciprocal Tyler doesn't stop loving her and expressing his feelings. Here's the video:
