The colder weather is coming, and even if you hate it, you can still cute, casual, and most importantly - warm! Here are a few of my staples this season. I'm a really basic dresser so you'll definitely find something you like - girls, guys, and everyone else in the middle. Enjoy!

The Easy Jean

I live in these jeans! The "Easy Jean" from American Apparel are a stretchy denim that come in 4 different colours. I live by these jeans and I feel like they can be dressed up or down. These jeans are such a good investment and you will not regret buying them (or how amazing your booty looks in them!)
Classic Flannel

The flannel shirt.
Although this is has been a staple forever, it has made a huge comeback
this year. I feel like it's so easy to just throw one of these on with
jeans or leggings and button it all the way up if you're feeling lazy.
Or, you can wear a cute plain t-shirt under it, slap on a hat
(pictured), black easy jeans and some heeled boots, and you're basically
set for a girls night out. Cheers to versatility! P.S.
Buy flannels from thrift stores, never pay full price for something you can get for a fraction of the price!
Wool Coat

Ahhh, the wool coat. I've never seen them become so popular until this season and I really
love it. Yeah, the basic black peacoat has always been around, but the oversized, black, grey, and caramel wool coats are seriously taking over. These coats are also my favourite for dressing up or down. I also love these coats because they're larger and more similar to a "mens" coat. This means that they're oversized, and usually longer - perfect for Canadian winters!
Wool Sweater

A wool (or cotton) sweater is very
necessary for this season. Not only will you stay warm, but you'll look really cute and laid-back. There are perfect for chill days like going to class or shopping. In addition to the basic crewneck sweaters, check out the
turtlenecks - they're also back in style and season and they make you look a tad more sophisticated.
The Beanie

Again, perfect for looking warm and stylish. Also very good for chill days. You should probably get these hats (if you like them) in a grey, maroon, army green, and a black. I
love these because I can wear them to cover up bad hair days, or if I just feel like looking comfy. The beanie pictured is from American Apparel, but you can get them from H&M for a fraction of the price.
Roots Trackpants

If you're Canadian, there is no reason for you not to have these trackpants. I truly believe that they Roots tracksuit is the new
Canadian Tuxeudo. These pants are SO comfy and really good for doing anything. These don't even need an explination, just go get them - be comfortable.
Clearly, I like style and comfort. Hopefully you can see that based on the items that I've chosen. Go out and start re-building your winter wardrobe! Much love! Xx.
