Rihanna's music video for her song "Pour it up" has been released today. Aside from the overall raunchiness and lacklustre song lyrics, the video was pretty cool. I wholeheartedly appreciate the small amount of fucks Rihanna gives about her image. One reason I really respect her is because she is essentially the pilot of her own image.

The music video consisted of a whole lot of twerking: Twerking on the wall, twerking in the water, twerking on chairs twerking everywhere. Rihanna was wearing a bejwled bra that covered her small amount of underboob and the smallest amount of nipple possible. Her bottoms consisted of red booty things and high waisted denim shorts that had been turned into a thong in the back area.

No matter how Rihanna chooses to dress , what she chooses to say, or what she chooses to do she is pretty much untouchable. I love Rihanna because no matter what she does, she can't be labeled as "crazy" or "needing to go to rehab" because she fully embraces herself in every way possible.

If Rihanna want's to be seen the way she's been displayed in the "Pour It Up" video, so be it. Kudos to Rihanna for staying true to whoever she wants to be.
